Joining in 2012, Colin brings a wide variety of fundraising and direct response experience to the HSP creative team. As an Account Executive, he put that diverse background to work developing successful fundraising programs for some of the conservative movement’s most prominent organizations and candidates. In November 2016, Colin was promoted to Creative Director of HSP Direct.
Colin’s past experience on either side of the client-agency partnership — working for national non-profits, political campaigns, and fundraising firms — gives him a deeper understanding of the client relationship and a fuller view of the range of client needs. He has raised money in almost every channel — direct mail, online, telemarketing, direct-response radio and television, face-to-face major donor solicitation, foundation grant requests, corporate proposals and more — a background that contributes to an “outside-the-box” approach to package creation and multichannel integration. His work has generated tens of millions of dollars of revenue for conservative causes, and has earned him industry awards and recognition.
A native-born Washingtonian, Colin remains in the District, currently residing in the Sheridan-Kalorama neighborhood of Northwest DC. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Political Science and Economics from Vanderbilt University in 2007. When not suffering through another heart-breaking loss by his beloved Redskins, Colin enjoys cooking, crosswords, classic movies and craft beer.
